Daniel Smith
Daniel Smith, a member of Boy Scout Troop 128 of Diboll, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout with a landscaping project at Jubilee Baptist Church. Smith, with the help of fellow Scouts, planted flower beds, installed a gutter system and poured concrete for footpaths. Smith, 16, is a sophomore at Diboll High School and is a football player. He has been in Scouting at least 10 years, starting as a Cub Scout, his mother said. He is the son of Bobby Smith and Cheri Smith and has one sister, Robyn, 21. Wayne Dubose is scoutmaster of Troop 128.
