Ruby Jo Pugh

Services for Ruby Jo Davidson Pugh, 72, of Lufkin, were held Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, in the Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, with Luther Bolenbarker officiating.

She was a homemaker, and a very loving mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother. She loved to crochet and enjoyed reading. She completely read the Bible from cover to cover, as well as the King James Bible.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Minatra of Paradise; son, David Pugh of Paradise; daughter, Dawn Pugh of Lufkin; sisters, Helen Stephens of Fort Worth and Arah White of Star City, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Cary Pugh; daughter, Jo Ruby Pugh; and brother, Keith Hall.
