Diboll Lady Jacks keep on rolling along
      The Diboll Lady Jacks just keep on keeping on as they ran rough shot through the Livingston Lady Lions Tournament and turned around to annihilate the Rusk Lady Eagles two days later 81-37. The ladies wrapped up last week's tournament action back at full capacity with Nikki Greene making it back from the holiday's on the second day of action in Livingston.

Lumberjacks take 18-3A home opener
      The Diboll Lumberjacks coming off a rough outing in the Coca-Cola Lufkin Holiday Classic were able to rebound bigtime with a home contest at the friendly confines of Lumberjack Gymnasium. The game was Diboll's first game of the season in District 18-3A competition this year.

      Water Temp. 59 Water Clarity 2-3 feet 01/04/09 Sam Rayburn is at 157.68 ft the water temperature has been around 59 degrees. The water has been murky is some places from the winds that have been blowing for most of the week.

What a year!
2008 certainly had some memorable moments in Lumberjack Country
      There were an awful lot of big moments over the last year in Diboll sports, from a couple of district titles to an historic launching of new soccer programs and a heck of a run by the Diboll Lumberjack baseball team last spring.

Loche among best in Texas 3A football
      Diboll Lumberjack senior standout Deantrey Loche was recently selected to the ranks of the best football players in all of Texas Class 3A. An all around athlete Loche was a pivotal role player on the Jacks' defense, finishing the season with five intercepetions and 28 tackles to his credit.

Jacks honored for hardwork on gridiron
      Several Diboll Lumberjacks have been recognized on several different lists for their outstanding play on the football field during the 2008 season. Jacolby Spencer led the way for the hometown boys with his Class 18-3A All District Offensive MVP.
