Loche among best in Texas 3A football

Diboll Lumberjack senior standout Deantrey Loche was recently selected to the ranks of the best football players in all of Texas Class 3A.

An all around athlete Loche was a pivotal role player on the Jacks' defense, finishing the season with five intercepetions and 28 tackles to his credit.

Loche also scored a touchdown on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

Diboll Head Football Coach Tom Sheppard was very proud of his senior.

"It was a well deserved honor," Sheppard said.

Loche was selected by the Associated Press to the 2nd team All Defense.

"We put him out there on the cover corner and he would lockdown his man," Sheppard said.

Loche certainly put on a terrific showing this and earned the well deserved honor.

"He did a great job for us this year," Sheppard said.
