Its that time of year again and Diboll Youth Baseball sign-ups are just around the corner. Sign-ups will be Feb. 23 & 24 from 6pm-8pm, Feb. 26 & 27 6pm-8pm and Feb. 28 10am-12pm. Cost is $40 per child. Sign-ups are at the Baseball Complex in Old Orchard Park.

Basketball Camps

Applications are now being evaluated for the Ten Star All Star Summer Basketball Camp. The Ten Star All Star Summer Basketball Camp is by Invitation Only. Boys and Girls ages 10-19 are eligible to apply.College Basketball Scholarships are possible for players selected to the All American Team. Camp Locations include: Commerce, TX, Phoenix, Az, Babson Park, Fl, Gainesville, Ga, Champaign, Ill, Glassboro, NJ, Ithaca, NY, Marietta, Oh, Lebannon, TN and Blacksburg, VA. Raffle Tickets

Tickets for the raffle are now only $10. Now if you are not that big on hunting and fishing there is still plenty of reason for you to purchase a ticket as the second prize is a $500 gift card to anywhere of your choosing and a $250 gift card for the third prize winner. You may purchase tickets anytime Monday Friday, 8a.m.- 5p.m. at the Diboll Free Press office, or contact any member of the JackBackers.

Golf Tourney

The Diboll Lumberjacks and Lady Jacks will be hosting a pair of golf tournaments at Neches Pines Golf Course this spring. The Lumberjacks will host schools from around the area March 9, while the Lady Jacks will welcome in competition the following day March 10. Both tournaments will have an 8:30 am shotgun start. Fans come on out and cheer on our local golf teams.
