Last week, Diboll Primary students participated in the 30th anniversary of Jump Rope for Heart during Coach Baldree's PE classes. These highly energetic youngsters raised close to $1,500 for the American Heart Associations fight against cardiovascular disease and stroke. Jump Rope for Heart is a fun event that helps children understand the importance of community service and physical activity while helping to save lives. These events help students learn about the benefits of regular physical activity and heart health. The AHA is dedicated to helping people live longer, healthier lives.
