Diboll grad recieves scholarships

NACOGDOCHES — Meagan Hensley of Diboll was the recipient of three scholarships awarded by the Stephen F. Austin State University department of mathematics and statistics.

Hensley was awarded the W.D. Clark Mathematics Scholarship, the Carl Monk Jr. and Dr. Corrine Monk Jones Scholarship, and the Jason Balusek Scholarship.

She is a junior mathematics major and a 2006 graduate of Diboll High School. She is the daughter of Freddy and Darlene Hensley of Diboll.

Hensley was recently inducted into the Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society, and is the vice president of the SFA chapter of the Mathematical Association of America.
