Lady ‘Jack BBall returns to court

The new-look Lady ‘Jack basketball team returned to the court on Saturday as they traveled to Carthage to scrimmage the Lady Dogs. Last year’s senior-laden team made it to the regional finals of the playoffs before they were defeated. On Saturday, six freshman, two sophomores, and a senior made the trip to Carthage, although a few members of the volleyball team are expected to join the mix when their season concludes. Coach Laura Knight said that it’s the little things that last year’s team did that will provide the biggest adjustment for her with this year’s team. She has named Frankie Bogany as this week’s basketball player of the week. The Lady ‘Jacks officially tip-off the season later this month.
