      Hours before the Diboll Lumberjack’s tip off their season on the road at Neches, head coach Brian Kruk could barely contain his excitement for the upcoming season. Although the ‘Jacks face a tough road ahead in their quest to make the playoffs, Coach Kruk likes his team’s chances.

8th grade girls win 3rd place at Lufkin tourny
      The Jr. High Lady ‘Jacks participated in the Lufkin Tournament on Nov. 21. The 7th grade team lost two hard-fought games to Central and Corrigan. For the tournament, Madison Neyland had five points, Sydney Hurley scored three points, and Darbie Parks and Ashley Coleman added two points each.

After the first few minutes of the game, it looked like those fans would be in for a hotly-contested non-district slug fest between Diboll and Nacogdoches.
