Lumberjacks take 18-3A home opener

The Diboll Lumberjacks coming off a rough outing in the Coca-Cola Lufkin Holiday Classic were able to rebound bigtime with a home contest at the friendly confines of Lumberjack Gymnasium.
The game was Diboll's first game of the season in District 18-3A competition this year.
The Jacks came out strong from the opening tip of the contest and worked their way to a huge 11 point win over the Eagles, 54-43.
Jacolby Spencer led the way for the Lumberjacks on Friday night.
The Diboll leader led all scorer's with 20 huge points in the affair.
Also coming up big for the Jacks in the victory were Chris Bailey with 13, Cornelius Polk chipped in 11 in the contest.
Also putting up points for the Jacks were Antonio Johnson and Cody Stifle with four points, and Trey Loche had a pair.
The Jacks will return home this Friday night for a district contest with Carthage Bulldogs.
