Funeral services for Rosella Tatum, 96, of Lufkin were held Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at the Manning Cemetery.

Mrs. Tatum was born April 5, 1913, in the Rockland Community, Tyler County, Texas, to the late Ella (Richardson) and Henry Minor Best, and died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, at a local nursing home.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, John Henry and JoAnn Tatum of Lufkin and James Tatum of the Saron Community; daughters and son-in-law, Peggy Lankford and Rose Ann and Mike Harbuck, all of Lufkin; 10; and 10 great-grandchildren.
