Up, up and away

Above, first-grade students at Diboll Primary release 100 balloons in honor of the 100th day of school, at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2. Students gathered to form the number 100, and each student released a balloon. Attached to the balloon was a letter stating what the school was celebrating and asking the person who finds the balloon to please write them back and let them know where the balloon landed. The students will then chart the different locations on the U.S. map.
